Obama in town on Sunday

Democrat Barack Obama makes his Florida debut as a presidential candidate Sundaywith a $100-per-person appearance at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach sandwiched in between pricier private fundraisers.

He will also attend private receptions at the Palm Beach home of Jim Clark, Hallandale Beach home of Jeremy and Rachel Alters, the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables and the Coral Gables home of Roy and Lea Black. Obama's last public appearance in Florida, before he officially began his campaign, was in October when he rallied with gubernatorial candidate Jim Davis at Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens.

The party follows Obama's exhausting South Florida schedule, which begins this morning in West Palm Beach at the Kravis Center for a fundraiser, continue to Hallandale Beach for a private reception at the home of Jeremy and Rachel Alters, then to the Biltmore and then to the Blacks' home.
